Thundercats

Being a child of the 80's I feel that I grew up in a great era. Especially since my actual birth year is 1980. I wouldn't tag myself as a couch potato, but I have spent a lot of time enjoying some of the many movies and television programs. Classic movies like "The Star Wars" series, The"Back II the Future" trilogy, and "The Matrix" trilogy to not so good ones like "Batteries not Included", "Howard the Duck" and "Mac and Me". Also a long list of cartoons and Animes that I have watched over and over again and others that I never want to see again. I have watched all types of sitcoms and other type of shows. (Let me move on because the list is starting to drag on!)

In this blog I'll be going over random things like this and many others. Today's subject? ThunderCats!

What a amazing cartoon for it's era! I remember watching it as a kid. Honestly Lion-O was somewhat of a punk! At least that was my opinion back then. Since a cable network is redoing the series, they are having a marathon of the original series. I'm in bliss with reminiscing on the mid-80's! It also is giving me a chance to re-examine everything and grab a better understanding of things. Now I understand that he was cheated out of growing up and he was basically a child in a grown body. It's interesting that they were able to come up with a plot line like that in that time. Now as far as basic substance within the episodes...there was none! Episodes usually revolved around pathetic story lines that usually ended the same way. It was a great pleasure to walk down memory lane with the Thundercats, but after a few episodes I find my adult brain nored of this. I'll watch a few more episodes and then move on to the next classic. My next post will be more about who I am. Thank you for reading this post and feel free to comment if you can.
